He showed contempt for the entire legal system in Taiwan (justifiable imo) which is going to piss off anyone involved in such a system. It's like telling someone they are really ugly (when they are) and then using "but I'm just telling the truth" to justify it and de-legitimize the other person's anger. Doesn't really work. Thus far I have remained silent on this topic, but no further: It's admirable that blackcrusader sees his adopted "country" in such a fine light. Who ever said that nationalism was dead? What was that? 12 indictments at Da An. "Oh, they haven't been found guilty yet, hence they are innocent" claptrap. I, and many here, love Taiwan as much as you do, blackcrusader. It is quite unnecessary, however, to express your blinkered approach with such fervent nationalistic naivete. Zain Dean may or may not be guilty. But we do know with assuredness that the police are corrupt. Just because you are a "citizen", doesn't mean you have to assimilate yourself into their web of deceit out of some misplaced loyalty.
