Criticism is fine, and you can find loads of it here that passes without comment. In most cases some form of rational thought lies behind it, and consequently it has value, which you cannot say for typical, boiler-plate, knee-jerk references to sticky balls, booze, etc etc etc.. There's not really a fine line between criticism and gratuitous cheap shots. The former, regardless of who is offended by it, is productive and welcome; the latter counterproductive and far less so.

As for tribal sensitivity, I am all for it when the that whole certification element is brought up. If Taiwanese so called businesses, sorry, schools, were in fact themselves certified, then one might well have a point. Everything else is sheer mud-slinging.

Well, there's a supposed certain integrity at work here. This isn't 4chan or fucking freemidgetporn.com.tw. If it wants to be a mouthpiece for blathering idiots, it should say so in its manifesto. If it wants to maintain a semblance of integrity as a useful and knowledgeable forum for expats in Taiwan, then getting rid of the counter-productive, vindictive, guttersnipe trolls like me should be foremost in its agenda.

Brutal honesty: 99% of posters accused of smurfing/trolling ARE actually smurfing/trolling. The 1% that are miss-accused are collateral damage. If a website operates under the supposition of integrity amongst its contributors, it's going to fail. Simple as that.

Trolls post pseudo questions asking for advice, and others give of their time to supply it. Whilst all they are doing is baiting for a flame-war, and sitting back and giggling at the naive saps who actually took them at face value and made an effort. Fucking wankers.

I don't actually remember what I wrote here and there because I am mostly drunk all the time when posting. I was just pissed off at getting censored. It's just stupid words on the stupid internet. I've really gotta learn to be less emotional about shit that means nothing.

I have NO problem with people having a good reason to create a separate account. That's fine. But just to giggle and create problems and sneer at the honest posters who give genuine advice ? And how are you going to "prove" it anyway? Impossible. You may lose 1% of genuine posters that way. Collateral damage. Follow your gut feeling. It's inevitably correct.

What on earth does the site have to gain from posters who are OBVIOUSLY create problems, anonymously, but you keep them there 'cause you can't PROVE it? Nada. Absolutely nada. Mothers are using roving IP accounts. Do you actually have to catch them typing on their keyboards IRL to accuse them? You're fighting a losing battle, then.

I never use an email for forum that matched my facebook skype or msn accounts. All my friends are the same use hotmail or gmail yahoo whatever with new acount name for forums.

Many people stalk others so better not to use email from normal life for forums. That does not mean we are smurf accounts. If get pm this shows email address from person sending. So when being stalked by other forum members its not nice they can find out your email address so easily and annoy you. Always better to use VPN IP address. Even when I am posting I get messages from mods asking why my IP is in Taipei when I post from out of Taipei or from Thailand or anywhere esle. Why you care what IP address I post from? Its not safe for women who get stalked by males on that site forumosa. Many of my friends don't even use facebook and if they do they do not use an email except a new one just for facebook.

I was stalked by Kea on flob several times and the mods did nothing except give him a few warnings when I complained.

You should have let me do the stalking. I was pretty good at it on the flob even though just about all the people I accused of being trolls and smurfs weren't.

Never mind they are just collateral damage in the witch hunts I conducted. I think that people should be banned for having ideas that I don't agree with. Also, if they don't have porn stars as their avatars. This site is getting far too lenient and all sorts of nonsense is slipping through the cracks.
