Not quite. I had originally posted it in temp (Saturday June 1), then it all got moved to open (Sunday June 2), then someone split off some of the questions and responses to temp (Monday June 3). I'm not complaining, just remarking that it looks a little lost without the context.

I really hate to have to go through this yet again, but here goes.

A. Single thread for promotional use
Each business entity or organization is entitled to a single thread on F.com, in which the OP (the representative of that business or organization) may post pretty much anything he or she likes. Exceptions are, of course, posts against the Rules at taiwanosa, posts that contain no new information and are merely designed to "bump" the thread to the top of new thread listings, etc. This single thread is a discussion thread, with discussion limited to the topics related directly to that organization or entity.

B. Promotion of events
Any announcement of events to be held is to be placed in the geographically appropriate Events subforum, as the case may be.

C. In the case of both (A) and (B), posts that are against the Rules may be temped or flamed at the discretion of the F.com moderating team.

Please note that feedback directed at the site staff should be placed in Feedback, instead of (A) above, as it is not discussion of the mission and/or activities of the organization in question.

Are you speaking to me or to the moderators? I have no problems with what you say, but when I first posted in temp (the very spot you initially said YOU'D have put it), some moderator took it out and put my post into open. And then split responses off into temp. If I posted responses to Open Posts or Temp Posts in Events, that wouldn't make a lot of sense. But if the moderator wanted to do that, that would be fine with me. I just don't have the ability to do this retroactively.

Again, are you talking to me or other moderators? Because the first question about who split what when came from a moderator, not me. I'm doing my best to stay on topic. Because 914 doesn't appear to be moderating Open Forum anymore, I've also been following up with Tempo Gain via PM. If there's someone else I should be communicating with I guess he'll let me know. Also, I'm sure he'll address any problems you perceive.
