Fascism Has Come to America Courtesy of the GOP

For all of you who slept through your PolySci classes at University.

Fascism – A right-wing system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism, racism, and private economic (corporate) ownership under rigid government control.

Fascism is a conservative philosophy of government that stresses the primacy and glory of the state, unquestioning obedience to its leader, subordination of the individual will to the state’s authority, and harsh suppression of dissent. A right-wing nationalist ideology or movement with a totalitarian hierarchical structure that is fundamentally opposed to democracy and liberalism and instills a will to dominate in people’s character but protects businesses and landowning elites while preserving class systems. Many have recently read “On May 2nd, 1933, the day after Labor Day, Nazi groups occupied union halls and labor leaders were arrested. Trade Unions were outlawed by Adolf Hitler, while collective bargaining and the right to strike were abolished. This was the beginning of a consolidation of power by the fascist regime which systematically wiped out all opposition groups, starting with unions, liberals, socialists, and communists using Himmler’s state police.”

It does not take a rocket scientist to understand exactly what is occurring with many of the newly elected Tea Party Republican Governors; all who have begun to show their ‘cards’ in dealing the American workers a ‘hand’ that will drive every middle class family into oblivion and enact real ‘death panels’ for the elderly, sick and children.

Not only are these Republican governors seeking complete control and elimination of democracy, they are funded by Corporate Koch Brothers Industries who are seeking to install an elite ruling class over the will of the people and the U. S. Constitution, they are following a fascist plan to install corporations in place of the U.S. Government. (Please read ‘A People’s History of Koch Industries) With newly elected Tea Party Republicans and limitless, undocumented money coming in from foreign countries and right-wing corporations courtesy of the activist Supreme Court, they are fighting against the working class and families every step of the way.
Remember, the Koch Brothers are right-wing activist billionaires corrupting democracy and buying off any politician who will take their money, now they are buying off Wikipedia (see below).

The Fascists Puppets:

Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and his GOP cronies gave away $140 million in tax cuts, and then after 50 years of collective bargaining for workers, Walker busted unions claiming they caused a state budget crisis. Now these radicals have decided to block state Senate Democrats from voting and seeking to ban picketing by protesters. He also cut $900 million from state education.Tax experts have investigated Walker’s claims that union pensions and benefits are causing deficits in the state budget however in the fine print it has been discovered that the union pays for its own benefit plans and not the state of Wisconsin taxpayers.

Republican Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder is enacting “financial martial law” nullifying state contracts and completely eliminating the democratic process “the governor will be able to declare “financial emergency” in towns or school districts and appoint someone to fire local elected officials, break contracts, seize and sell assets, and eliminate services. Under the law whole cities or school districts could be eliminated without any public participation or oversight, and amendments designed to provide minimal safeguards and public involvement, were voted down.” Snyder is also seeking to raise $1.7 billion in new taxes from residents, and then giving that money away to businesses in the form of tax credits! Additionally, Snyder is eliminating tax credits for the poor and cutting funding for K-12 schools and higher education. Now if all this does not make you weak-kneed,Michigan’s GOP Governor slashes corporate tax rate by 86 percent but will then increase state income taxes 31% from the working class! Let us not leave out Republican Florida Gov. Rick Scott is seeking to cut $1.75 billion from the state’s education system, while giving $1.6 billion in tax cuts to businesses.

Most all of the newly elected Republican Governors and some currently in office, continue to give tax breaks to corporations and then force the working class to pay for them. It is the same mentality when national Republican officials lied America into a war under false pretenses, then ran up historic deficits passing more debt on to the working class. There are a slew of other Republican governors now mulling over giving more tax breaks to corporations! So while U.S. Corporations are getting a sweet ride from the GOP, all the tax money they should be paying will now all be paid for by the working class. All this in addition to oil, aircraft and other industries who receive corporate tax breaks along with those profit-busting corporations who pay NO taxes at all, such as GE, Bank of America, Boeing, Citi-Group, and a host of others. In fact these companies are subsidized by the U.S. tax payer! Americans should demand the Koch Brothers give up their $1 billion in tax breaks for their biofuels division; another tax the working class will have to cover. People should know Koch Industries lease federal land for free for their agribusiness operations, they log public forests for private gain and have taxpayers cover the operating costs. But to sweeten their image, now the Koch Brothers have employed a public relations firm, New Media Marketing to airbrush Wikipedia articles about them, paying lots of money to have the pages of Charles Koch, David Koch, and their political activities revised by distancing themselves from the Tea Party movement and editing out any reporting that does not cast them in a favorable ‘light. Disappointingly all apparently with the knowledge, support and blessing of Sue Gardner; Executive Director of the Wikipedia Foundation. The Koch Brothers, who tried to remain ‘hidden’ to the general public from their political activities, are joined by two other powerful organizations which taut themselves as ‘grassroots’. American Crossroads and American Crossroads GPS is lead by Karl Rove who continues to manipulate elections on behalf of oligarchs and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. There is Dick Armey’s FreedomWorks, who like Rove’s groups, do not disclose their donors, tell their members they are for lower taxes and less government; but in truth both right-wing organizations’ mission is to spend money to influence elections and buy candidates who will act on behalf of those companies and their deregulatory policies. These same polices brought us Enron, the collapse of Wall Street banks, Bernie Madoff, Jack Abramoff, the Gulf oil spill, the recent coal mining disasters, and the corporate controlled Supreme Court. Further they are working to remove all government support for people while eliminating taxes for corporations and give full power to Wall Street Corporations. These groups are awash with powerful Washington lobbyists to buy the allegiance of Republicans and are directly involved in busting unions throughout America. Additionally, these groups have consistently deceived their followers, incite violence and racism in their campaigns to overthrow American democracy; and they have unfettered access to FOX News to carry their messages.

The Question?

If all these states are in such dire economic straits then why are Republican Tea Party Governors giving huge tax breaks to corporations and the very rich? The truth is the economic crisis they created is a ruse, an orchestrated plan to bust up unions, attack public employees, place massive tax increases on the poor and middle class; while eliminating funding for education, Medicaid, job training and other programs clearly designed to help the working class. The Republican’s ultimate goal: the installation of corporations and the very rich to control the U.S. Government and the lives of all Americans! (Fascism) Where are the jobs? Not on any agenda of the new Republican Governors.

Please note the Government Accountability Office said 72% of all foreign corporations and about 57 percent of U.S. companies doing business in the United States paid no federal income taxes for at least one year between 1998 and 2005. “There are corporations in this nation, some of the biggest corporations in this nation, who do not pay taxes.” (PolitiFact ranks this TRUE). As Dave Johnson writes in Campaign for America’s Future “This legislative attack on public employees follows more than a year of “preparing the ground” with a coordinated campaign from conservative organizations to convince the public that public employees are overpaid and that their pensions are “bankrupting” state governments — not the effects of the recession.”

“We see variations of the same formula over and over. Here is how it works:

1) Cut taxes for the rich and corporations (corporate stock is mostly owned by the top 1%); big deficits result.
2) Claim a deficit emergency and use their domination of corporate-owned media to whip the public into a panic, creating the appearance of demand for corporate- approved “solutions.” Manipulate the appearance of consensus.
3) With taxes and military “off the table” push through cuts in the things government does for We, the People.

Repeat as often as needed to create a plutocracy.”

The Solution:

Americans of all political persuasions, ethnic groups, the working class, public employees, teachers, janitors, fire and police departments, farmers and the poor are now called upon to respond to the all out Republican assault and reclaim the essence of economic justice before it is lost to the complete corporate takeover and fascist plan by the GOP. This Republican plan is to allow corporations to steal and take control from every U.S. citizen. In spite of the support by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Koch Brothers and the declaration that ‘corporations are people’, Americans must stand up for workers and families. Every American has a right to a job, to health care, to retirement and to housing and a fair tax rate. No American should be forced to carry the tax burden for Wall Street Corporations or State Governments or participate in this Republican Ponzi scheme. All government belongs to the people, not to fat cats and lobbyists who attempt to buy our liberty and democracy. No government has the right to abolish, city managers, local government or school districts. There has to be accountability and these would be fascists must be stopped, and their pillaging and plundering of the working class must be dealt a resounding ouster and recall at the polls. Finally, these corporate fascists who pay no taxes or put their tax burden on the working class; do not support our military or our brave fighting men and women; how could they when they pay nothing into the U.S. Treasury!

As Michael Moore, (another personal hero, besides Al Gore), recently stated “Today just 400 Americans have the same wealth as half of all Americans combined! Contrary to what those in power would like you to believe so that you’ll give up your pension, cut your wages, and settle for the life your great-grandparents had, America is not broke. Not by a long shot. The country is awash in wealth and cash. It’s just that it’s not in your hands. It has been transferred, in the greatest heist in history, from the workers and consumers to the banks and the portfolios of the uber-rich.”

“America ain’t broke! The only thing that’s broke is the moral compass of the rulers. And we aim to fix that compass and steer the ship ourselves from now on. Never forget, as long as that Constitution of ours still stands, it is one person, one vote, and it’s the thing the rich hate most about America — because even though they seem to hold all the money and all the cards, they begrudgingly know this one unshakeable basic fact: There are more of us than there are of them.”
Americans must continue to educate ourselves on those who seek our freedom; we must reclaim our nation for ourselves, our families, for future generations and take back this country from the would-be fascists who seek to take complete corporate control of these United States.

TC, a serious question.

Is your life one big liquor addled, misogynistic, Vietnam-flashback induced non-sequitur?

Are you disturbed because you are trapped in Tainan and like the proverbial Hotel California, you can't check out?
