How many of those others were shot by the police? I think that's what makes this one different.
How many of "those" were huge tanks of men who assaulted police and couldn't be stopped, even after being hit so many times by a metal nightstick that it bent?

Does that make it right? He wasn't shot for the fleeing anyway. You conveniently leave out the assault bit.
LORD LUCAN wrote: Normally they don't get shot during the arrest procedure.
Normally suspects can be brought under control with lesser degrees of force. And, again, normally suspects don't attack police.
LORD LUCAN wrote:At the end of the day, it's all speculation. It was one on one with no witnesses. Cop claims he was attacked and had to shoot to protect his life. Cop, is however, suspiciously unmarked for a man who's just come from a life-and-death fight. Some will believe the cop. Some won't.
Bullshit. The chase was caught on video. The BAC is concrete evidence of the intoxication. The bent nightstick and the marks on the police officer's body are evidence of the struggle. It's very far from "speculation." You are just trying to confuse the issue to make your friend's outrageous actions look less serious, and cast doubt onto the police's actions in this case.
