I don't know him other than online. But it's part of the story as far as Forumosa is concerned. I would also think he has bigger things to worry about. A lot of people here think their opinions mean a lot more than it actually does. But they shouldn't. Me included.

I liked the summation that, 'on here we can stand as real people and we can shout and piss and scratch because in real life we are battered and bruised.' That kinda sums it all up. Forumosa et al are places where we can be Batman or President George W Obama or whoever we want to be. For one shiny moment when we press 'send' we are a hero. Even if it is just to ourselves.

美籍男子馬哲漢（四十六歲）今年四月來台擔任美語教師，昨天凌晨與友人在北市羅斯福路及愛國東路附近酒吧喝酒，凌晨三點多，馬哲漢騎車返家，隨即在路口被南昌所警員吳文德攔查。

馬不服取締，掉頭就走，吳文德和另一名警員騎車在後追趕，過程中馬的皮包掉落，吳的同事撿皮包，吳則繼續追捕，馬一路騎車往東逃，最後從信義區崇德街上山，逃往富德公墓方向。

由於正值農曆七月鬼門開，雙方經過富德公墓時，吳文德靈機一動喃喃默念，「請好兄弟幫助台灣人！」不久來到研究院路及木柵路山區交叉口時，馬突然迴轉，吳見機不可失，切角度撞上馬嫌機車，馬嫌跌倒一旁。

馬起身要牽機車逃逸，吳立即阻擋，雙方扭打，馬搶走警方無線電阻止吳呼叫支援；由於馬身高一百八十公分、體重近百公斤，吳拿出警棍自衛，但馬出手力大，警棍都被打歪，這時吳文德掏出警槍喝令，但馬卻衝上去要繼續動手，吳文德只好朝馬的大腿開槍。

子彈貫穿馬的右大腿並擦傷左小腿，馬受傷才就逮，支援警力不久陸續趕到，將馬送往萬芳醫院急救。馬經過救治後傷勢已無大礙，檢測後酒測值為零點五六，警方將待馬出院後，依公共危險、妨害公務等罪移送法辦。

Oh and the person who has *insinuated* me as being a vulture, sure, yeah, like I was the one being drunk, fled from the police and, oooooo, according to Apple Racist Daily, "ram the police scooter and body pinned the officer". Yeah sure, like I should apologize for calling his life *sorry*. Sure, he's one solid citizen whom I really want my kids to enroll in whatever classes he's teaching. I do not know what you expected. Nothing I have written about him breaks any forum rules, except on other sites they are trying to hide his identity which I do not agree with.

Oh so you thought the other 2 forums were any different. The only thing is that all their temped posts are saved for posterity here. Why delete what people have said. It's their god given right to post things which others find offensive.

We've split some stuff off into different topics. Waiting to see if any of the gutless wonders who slag off at me on other sites temp forums would start posting here where nothing is edited or deleted? I guess not. Here you can also publish your pm's. They are after all, yours, not ours.
