Because in terms of the dangers facing expat children in Taiwan, kidnapping doesn't even register. Obviously I was not really equating kidnapping with adoption. It was just some dark humour on a topic to my knowledge that has not touched the lives of any expat in Taiwan.

There are many stories on flob where an expat has claimed his child was kidnapped by their partner. Or does parental kidnapping not apply? Or that South African guy that kidnapped his own kid to ask for ransom from his wife's parents. How many of those 1 million plus expats do you think you know dear leader?

You want to know what's scary? The number of sexual predators/sex offenders that probably live within a kilometre of your place. It's not just the boys in one's daughter's high school you have to worry about - it's sick, twisted individuals who think nothing of scarring forever the lives of young boys and girls.
