55 years to life for DUI and killing someone. Why can't the Taiwan government treat me like the proper criminal I am?

I only got 4 years and that's only after my appeal. I know a thing or 2 about being a substance abuse driver. At least the guy I killed wasn't stuck in my windscreen.

That's an awful lot of legal scrutiny and international attention for what the peanut gallery would have you believe was just a case of local gangster-police/ ktv owner corruption. No, sometimes a drunk driver is just a drunk driver. The only stench of corruption in this case is emanating from Dean's supporters, who knowingly spread lies and tried to stifle outrage over his actions.

As far as I know, he's holding out for the full appeals process, which could take a couple of years. The idea, apparently, is that time spent on remand will count toward his sentence, a factor that seems to have been *ahem* "overlooked" by the wonderful local press. If that turns out to be the case, he'll spend the whole sentence on remand in Scotland and won't serve any time here. Dunno what the plan is for restitution to the family of the victim. He's apparently being held liable for that. But having only the local media to rely on, its a bit difficult to get any kind of clear information.

As far as you know? really? You have made many claims even including the Scottish Court was not considering extradition.

Fact is that ZD case will go to the Home minister who will sign off on the Extradition. ZD can appeal to the High Court in the UK. However the High Court may not even hear his appeal and reject it as they are fed up with appeals that have no merit and are used as a delaying tactic to avoid such extraditions.

ZD must file an appeal shortly after that Scottish province Minister signs off on the extradition. ZD wont be spending his sentence in a nice bunk in Scotland.

ZD isn't Taiwanese but I am. I represented the Taiwan Olympics Team in Judo at the UK Olympics last year. You are not Taiwanese, yet question others about it.
