Actually I think he was the most banned poster on forumosa ever. Its no wonder after some of the things expats do in Taiwan that the locals hold some of the opinions they do.

Outing people on forums in real life is an internet crime. But I guess seeing as our goose egg actually made a public announcement about my being his business director I will deal with all the publicity good or bad that comes my way.

Found this little gem. I guess it depend on what he's selling?

It's great having a business director and all, but isn't a business director supposed to have some kind of business to direct? Good luck and all but I can't figure out how anyone would monetize a hobby forum. The likes of FlyerTalk and GetRichSlowly can make money because they have a huge potential user base and a clear way for companies to interact with users.

I just want to live long enough to see drug use and addiction removed from the criminal code and be treated as the health issue it is. Is Canada paving the way for the American (and thereby, the rest of the world) to end their Invasion on the private lives of its citizenry?

I will remain adamant that no one should be imprisoned for drugs.

My parents stood by me through 10 long, horrific years of drug addiction. They never judged me; supported me with unfailing kindness and generosity. I mean the world to them, and they mean the world to me. I have visited with them every year that I've been away.

I owe them that much Web forum addictions and loss of moderating priveledges are much harder to deal with. How does one withdraw from all the trolls and smurfs on the internet?
I have given up on Divea as a human. I don't allow myself to think about her. It hurts too much to imagine people like her are real. My real name is Marc Feltham

Wonderful post Jimip. That must have been a struggle. On the other hand could have ended up like Barlow and Chambers, 2 Aussies that were hanged in Malaysia for drugs in 1987.

I guess sooner or later we all face the death penalty one way or the other

ALL DRugs should be immediately de criminalized. Its unfair to those of us who want to use drugs on a regular basis. Its against my human rights.

All you could do is pretend you were some sort of expert teaching people how to ride bikes. Damned if a bit of wind behind you, those ears could be used for extra speed.

I'd have a lot more of the compassion you prize so highly if you'd just admit that the purchase of heroin was a mere excuse for your need to suck the cocks of random strangers. Confess and be forgiven.

Same with those spanners that have never been a member of the N.Y.P.D. but seem to think that somehow they did consume unlimited amounts of space surrounded by a ring of dough, whilst wearing a funny angular cap.
And the same with the marines, various fire departments, the CIA and the FBI.

I'm going to get my KGB t-shirt out.
Yeah, I'm KGB - suck on that you Capitalist Imperialist A**hole.
Oh, yes! Me, too! I know what you mean!

And on a similar note, don't you just hate it when guys tell you that they're secret agents, to impress you or whatever. And you believe them. Then it turns out they're pathetic, full of shit, pathological liars. That's another pet peeve of mine.

As someone who thoroughly enjoys seeing Canadians arrested for drug possession in Taiwan, I think I was on the opposing side of an epic rant by (Pop My Fly) Toe Save. But kudos for Toe for keeping a consistent position throughout and for standing by his friend, just as I have kept a consistent position in enjoying watching fellow countrymen get in trouble thinking the values in Taiwan are similar compared with "Left Coast" tolerance.

Now those foreigners that mention you 'reap what you sow" for drug crimes but then don't apply that same rationale for late night careless drinking and driving incidents-- I just don't understand the double standard.

See, the way I see it, part of deciding to live in Taiwan (which has many pluses) is recognizing the fact that you can be put in jail for years for crimes that would get normally get you months in jail or a slap on the wrist in other locales.

Still, having people on that forum crucify someone for what would be, in the West, a minor drug sentence, and yet having many key members of that forum support a person charged with alledgedly running over someone while drunk--a serious crime anywhere (vehicular manslaughter) comes across to me as Banana Republic preferential treatments. These foreigners are "out-taike'ing" the Taiwanese over on other expat sites in Taiwan.
