ZAIN DEAN CONVICTED KILLER ON THE LAM

Only a fool would believe Dean. He's been caught in so many lies, it's hard to know what (if anything) he says is the truth. He's behaved dishonourably, in addition to committing a reprehensible crime. It's disgusting that he's left his girlfriend to face a possibly severe custodial sentence, along with that git who sold him his passport. Dean should get back here and try to minimise the damage he's doing to their lives. But he won't until forced, though. He's the classic narcissist sociopath. He only cares about himself. Bastard.

As for Chris Churcher, there should be maxims followed such as fairness no matter your origin and the punishment fitting the crime. He did not kill anybody nor was he convicted of such a crime nor did he escape Taiwan. He facilitated an exit of Taiwan either knowingly or unknowingly. We can see that Dean's gf, although also getting punished, was absolved of helping Dean hide evidence in the case. Would that have occurred if she was a foreigner? I have my doubts.

David was held under indefinite detention laws that breach European Human rights (yes I know this is not Europe), and therefore I don't think anybody should be celebrating this type of justice system. So I think it's highly unlikely the British govt will have any further interest after his release. Indeed it must be a legal minefield given non recognition of Taiwan and the use of these detention tactics to extract a confession. The confession would not be admissable in European courts as it was extracted under duress.

Most people don't make these kinds of decisions for financial rewards, and I highly doubt that was the major motivating factor here, most likely he thought he was doing a good deed and that he wouldn't be caught.

Issues like face that has been lost should be ignored but we know it doesn't always work like that. I hope that the judge goes easy on him considering his served detention time and admission of guilt.

Why do you think your "doubts" mean anything? Evidence, man. Evidence. It's been your tired M/O to constantly raise doubts concerning Dean and his accomplices. But you never discuss the facts of the case. Why is that? Is it that you know the facts don't support your purpose? Instead you keep talking about your feelings, as if these are somehow relevant. Then you make up fairly tales about how governments will or will not react in this case, and why they supposedly may do so. Do you know any of this for sure? Source? How do you know a confession was extracted under duress? Human Rights laws? You some expert on these? State exactly how these have breached, and which ones in particular. You're getting as bad as FAT CHIEF for posting fabrications and outright lies.

HH11 he was held on remand after being charged with criminal offences, just like they do in Europe and the UK. He wasn't held under any laws that breach European Human Rights laws.

Secondly he plead guilty. It doesn't matter if Chris 邱凱 thought he was doing a good deed and wouldn't get caught. He committed crimes, and he did it for financial reward. IF he thought he wouldn't get caught then he should take that up with the people who gave him such bad advice. I guess sooner or later he'll be best mates again with ZD when he eventually gets deported back to the UK. Don't forget Chris could face more charges and jail time in the UK as well.

Zain Dean himself has also stated Chris sold him the passport. It's not like this isn't public knowledge even for the prosecutors.

At least Zain got away, I think he had a bad trial even if he is guilty.

How is he a flight risk? Presumably he no longer has a passport.

Are you being obtuse? Zain Dean didn't have a passport either. He used another persons passport. Who is to say Chris wouldn't ask someone to do the same thing.

I wonder how Dean feels about this now, his bullshit story that he took Chris's passport and used it without his consent and denying his GF helped him.

As you can imagine when you lie to protect your friends and it backfires on you, the feeling isn't great.

However, there is one thing I do still believe in, and that is Chris and my GF who are on the whole decent, well meaning, industrious, and friendly. I will miss their generosity of spirit, and their willingness to take it up the arse and do jail time for me. 16 November 1971 is my birthday please do send me presents
