Are we bringing out this dead, flogged, horse? Alrighty, then!Who has not stood teachers getting a bit of flak?
The powers that might have been, have moved on. Or haven't you heard? I think the site does not attempt to pretend to stand for the whole community, only those that see fit to take part. As for tribal sensitivity, I am all for it when the that whole certification element is brought up. If Taiwanese so called businesses, sorry, schools, were in fact themselves certified, then one might well have a point. Everything else is sheer mud-slinging.
I wonder if in point of fact if ChewDawg has ever tossed a sticky ball. At least at a whiteboard. If not, then why the constant clamour?
Deep down, he must feel a need to toss his sticky balls. As he himself should well recognise, sometimes experience might just well trump any and all certification.
Once, in a galaxy far away, in a theatre of war, I caused howitzer rounds to be aimed at civilians amongst whom there were our enemy.
Was I certified for that?
No.
Once, I cleared goods across an international border.
Was I certified for that?
No, but now I am.
Once, I entertained and actually taught some pre-schoolers how to behave, and how to actually utter a coherent sentence.
Was I certified for that?
Yes, but from no institution other than the school of hard experience.
Certification is but a millstone, a milestone for others.
Wrack it up, boys.
Am I Experienced?
Yes, I fucking am!
Are you?
