It may or may not be too bad you read things that way. The Internet is rather famous for being a medium where people are commonly misunderstood for lack of tone of voice, facial cues and all the other stuff that goes with language in other circumstances.

Why does Anthony bother posting on any sites except his own ??? I think he should stop. He is met with vindictiveness/bitterness/ mod rules whatever each time he posts and he keeps coming backfor more. Why? PERSONA NON GRATA.

Well as you can see Tony is not PNG here. In fact Tony and I had a nice chat last night over the spoofing. He's not really happy about it but hey, life isn't fair when he can't control every other website out there.

I make no "demands" of you, nor have I ever, but you should always do exactly as I say.

But you know how I feel. Any efforts on your part to remove every single post about me on moronosa would be much appreciated. Maybe you could delete the entire site.

PS Any spoofing of anyone except myself is fine by me.

I'll venture a guess and postulate that the only ones likely to be pissed off are the ones being spoofed mercilessly in these pages. They certainly aren't everyone. They are a small minority of individuals who take themselves and internet forums too seriously. Whenever there's a flame war on expat sites, the usual MORONosans are always in it.

I have no vested interest in either site. I enjoy moderator privilege banners here, and probably would have on Taiwanease had I remained there. The difference, of course, is the number of views and clickthroughs that Forumosa generates as opposed to what Taiwanese would generate. I'm more than comfortable with the Forumosa numbers from the perspective of meeting new students who are interested in really efficient Mandarin lessons.

What can you say about someone who writes that she has no vested interest in either site, but then immediately describes how she has vested interests (ie promoting Mandarin lessons) in the site with the better numbers? Delusional, self-serving hypocrite par excellence! She participates in expat forums, despite having left Taiwan many years ago, for only one reason: self promotion.And she has the gall to attack Tony for merely doing the same.
