Well, we had a foggy start to the day, but the sun was valiant and by shortly after noon, sunscreen was in order! We had eighty or ninety people there, and what a great bunch of people! Teachers, bankers, businessmen, engineers, bakers, entrepreneurs, grad students, restaurateurs, entertainers, with about a dozen nationalities represented. And lots of kids! It was great watching them play together, great to see new friendships being formed, and some old ones renewed. And one of the attendees, capitalizing on the good vibe, even proposed to his girlfriend! (She said yes!) The event was by all accounts a big success, and there are already calls to do it again.

I'd be polite enough not to tell them directly if I were present, certainly. But I'd be brave enough to tell them directly if proper manners weren't reciprocated. Online shit is just that
